I was looking for something casual, versatile and yet will go with some higher end casual clothing. I Googled designer sneakers. The choices are not as big as say if you were looking at Adidas, Air Jordan or Nike Air Force sneakers but there are enough choices and designs to choose from.

I found designers such as Prada, Hermes, Fendi, Gucci, Christian Dior and Dolce & Gabbana. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful they looked. Obviously with such names, you would find nice designs but remember we are talking about sneakers. The styles and designs varied quite a bit. I found myself wanting more then one pair. Another pleasant surprise was that the price was comparable with higher end Nike, Adidas and Michael Jordan sneakers.

The choices are between leather and canvas. All sizes, widths, color, a casual or a dressier look are available. One can wear these shoes with a nice sweat suite, with a suite or with a tuxedo. We have seen them on celebrities on talk shows. We have even seen them at the Grammy Awards show. They have become a very socially acceptable shoe to wear for all occasions. Some of these shoes were higher end Adidas, Nike or Jordan sneakers. So, choose what you like. From whom you would prefer. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how much you enjoy them.
