Everyone needs some work for proper survival. Some are doing jobs in private or public companies and some people are doing their own business. There are different kings of businesses like poultry business, dairy business, small-scale industry, private shops, restaurants etc. A business needs full knowledge and you can go for such field in which field you have complete knowledge. Without skills you are not able to do a business.

In simple, business means profit-making organization. It is concerned with the sale of different goods and services to satisfy the demand of customers. You could start your own business or purchase an existing one. You could also become agent of a big firm or opening your own restaurant or any type of shop. The other way is to buy franchise of existing business.

There are different types of businesses like partnership or joint venture, close corporation, proprietorship, non-profit corporation and company.

A close corporation is a legal entity on its own. A company can be sub-divided into two categories - private company and public company. A public company is one who offers its shares to the public but a private company's stock is held by a small group of people. When two or more people start up a business it is said to be partnership business and all profit or losses are distributed among them. A non-profit corporation means a company with a motive to help others without profit making like charitable organization, educational institutions etc. When a person starts a business under his name or a trade name it is said to be proprietorship business. He is only liable for all profit or loss.

Each and every business should have some objective. The main objective is to earn profit otherwise it is a social welfare. The business objectives are of different types: social objectives, economic objectives and human objectives. A business will earn profit when it is able to satisfy customer demands, have better relationships with suppliers and employees and fulfilling responsibilities towards society.
